Talk about 2 Days of CELEBRATION! September 16th is the Independence Day for Mexico. It is also a day for lots of yummy food, dancing, singing, the colors Red White & Green, and Lots of laughter! The party starts the night before on the 15th. In Mexico City, at 12am, the President of Mexico comes out onto a balcony above Millions of people and yells...VIVA MEXICO! And then the millions of people yell back, VIVA! Its pretty awesome. And then for everyone else who doesn´t make it to Mexico City, will watch the president on the t.v to join along in the yelling, OR people make their own parties to do the yelling. Like us! Our ward made a party to celebrate the holiday on Tuesday night. It was so much fun! Of course there was lots of dancing.....
